What is Alpha? It is a series of talks addressing key issues relating to the Christian faith – "Who is Jesus?", "How do you pray?", "How can I be sure of my faith?", and so on. What happens? Each week there’s coffee and pastries in a local home, then a short talk, followed by small groups with discussion & coffee
Who’s it for? Everybody – especially those wanting to explore the Christian faith, those wanting to build on their faith, & those who are new to church.
Who’s running it? This course is run by Catford Community Church – a local modern family church. Alpha courses all over the UK and worldwide are also run by every major denomination including: Anglican, Roman Catholic, Baptist, Presbyterian, Methodist, Salvation Army, Free Church, Pentecostal, Assemblies of God, House Churches etc
What does it cost? There’s no charge for the course, although some people may want to make a donation towards the cost of the meal.
