Israel Oluwole Olofinjana is an ordained and accredited Baptist minister and has pastored Crofton Park Baptist Church before becoming the Team Leader at Catford Community Church. He is Nigerian coming from a Pentecostal background. He holds a BA (Hons) in Religious Studies from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria and MTh from South London Christian College. He is the author of “Reverse in Ministry and Missions: Africans in the Dark Continent of Europe” and "20 Pentecostal Pioneers in Nigeria" He has also contributed to academic journals and magazines on the subject of Black Majority Churches (BMC) in Britain. He is part of the council of reference of "Be Build Together" a research project in Southwark looking into the history and practices of BMCs in that Borough. Israel is very passionate about the Bible and likes to help people connect with its stories. He is happily married to Lucy Olofinjana.
