25 March 2007, Diane Muir, “Abolition of slave trade 200 year anniversary”

In this all-age talk, Diane tries to help children imagine what it must have been like to be a slave, and considers the relevance of the 200 year anniversary of the abolition of the slave trade in the UK.

Diane ended the talk by getting the whole church to do a dance to Graham Kendrick’s moving song for justice “Arise – a prayer for peace
